7 years agoDenver Nuggets forward/center Nikola Jokic's agent said that the Nuggets picking up Jokic's team option for next season would be "an unfavorable scenario for the Nuggets." Denver has a $1.6 million team option on Jokic for the 2018-2019 season. Jokic can become an unrestricted free agent in 2019 if the Nuggets accept his team option. The Nuggets can decline the option and Jokic would become a restricted free agent this summer. That way Denver can lock up the big man to a max extension.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
