7 years agoKansas City Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas had a great day Tuesday. Moustakas went 3-for-6 with two home runs and three RBI. Moustakas now has 10 home runs in 150 plate appearances this season, and is on pace to match last season. Perhaps more impressively, Moustakas is hitting .300 in 2018, a career high. Previously in his major league career, Moustakas has bounced anywhere between .212 and .284. In addition, his current average is not based on an unsustainable BABIP. Therefore, we expect Moustakas to end the year with a high average, which combined with his power, will likely make him a top-10 third baseman.--Ben Rolfe
