7 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Francisco Liriano was not sharp in Wednesday's 10-inning loss to the Texas Rangers. He completed just four innings, coughed up three earned runs on four hits, and walked four batters while only striking out three. He threw just 41 of 81 pitches for strikes. While he has been better than expected this year (3-1, 2.97 ERA, 1.073 WHIP), this latest effort gives some cause for concern moving forward. Liriano will look for a bounce-back effort in his next start, which has yet to be confirmed.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
