7 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Ian Kennedy had a start to forget on Thursday. Kennedy had his worst start of 2018, giving up nine earned runs in four innings, including three home runs. Prior to this start, Kennedy had a 2.92 ERA with 35 strikeouts in 37 innings. This start continued Kennedy's bad history in Baltimore, where has now given up 20 earned runs in three starts and 13 2/3 innings. Kennedy should remain an option you can use at times in all formats in 2018, but this start is a reminder he is not someone who you start every week.--Ben Rolfe
