7 years agoDetroit Tigers third baseman Jeimer Candelario (wrist) was placed on the 10-day disabled list on Monday with left wrist tendinitis. The wrist is an issue he's dealt with before and it may require surgery eventually, but for now he'll try to play through the pain. He is hitting .272/.359/.497 with five home runs, three triples, 12 doubles and 16 RBI on the season and should be returning to the Tigers lineup in the near future.
