7 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy will face the New York Yankees at home Saturday. Duffy has had a tough 2018 so far, with a 6.51 ERA in 47 innings. It does not get any easier facing the Yankees, who rank second in runs, second in slugging and sixth in home runs. Duffy has struggled with walks this season, and the Yankees rank first in the major leagues for walks. In addition, this Yankees lineup is set up to crush left-handed pitching, with six right-handed hitters and a switch hitter in their regular lineup. For all of these reasons Duffy is a pitcher I am avoiding in all formats on Saturday.--Ben Rolfe
