7 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Eric Skoglund struggled against the New York Yankees Sunday. Skoglund, who now has a 6.15 ERA this season, had his worst outing of 2018. The Royals starter surrendered six earned in five innings. This is now the fifth time this season Skoglund has given up four or more earned runs in an outing. At this point Skoglund should only be owned regularly in AL-only. In shallower formats, he does offer appeal as a streamer but the opportunities to use him will be rare.--Ben Rolfe
