6 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus (arm) is making progress towards a return from the disabled list. Andrus is taking grounders, throwing from 90 feet and beginning to hit from a tee Monday. There is no firm date set for his return at this point, but without any setbacks he should be back at some point during June. Prior to his injury, Andrus had a .327 batting average with two home runs in 61 plate appearances. The Rangers shortstop has the potential to provide both power and speed, meaning fantasy owners should continue to stash Andrus and await his return.--Ben Rolfe
