6 years agoAfter opening rounds of 65 and 67, Rory McIlroy was in prime position to win the BMW PGA Championship heading to the weekend. But rounds of 71 and 70, coupled with rounds of 66 and 68 from eventual winner Francesco Molinari, left McIlroy alone in second place two shots behind. Still, it was a good week for the Irishman and sets him up well for this week's Memorial Tournament and the U.S. Open in two weeks. He'll be one of the favorites in each tournament.--cmangano
