6 years agoSan Diego Padres catcher Austin Hedges (elbow) was pulled from his rehab assignment earlier this week after experiencing elbow soreness. Hedges will return to San Diego for further tests. He received a clean MRI earlier in May and was scheduled to return to the Padres imminently. The club is being cautiously optimistic on his latest setback. The backstop was hitting .173 with two homers prior to the injury and can remain on the waiver wire until there's further clarity on his health.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
