6 years agoTexas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre (hamstring) could return from the disabled list as early as Thursday. After Beltre underwent a full complement of baseball activities Tuesday, manager Jeff Banister stated he would be activated no later than Friday. In order to try and keep Beltre healthy, the Rangers will give him multiple days a week as the designated hitter. Hopefully this means that fantasy owners will have Beltre available for the majority of the remainder of the season. Beltre's average is a gold mine for fantasy teams, and Beltre should be a top-10 third baseman on a per-game basis going forward.--Ben Rolfe
