6 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop prospect Chris Seise underwent shoulder surgery this week, ruling him out for the year. Seise was the 29th overall pick last year and was looking to continue a strong winter. In the Arizona Fall League, Seise hit three home runs with five steals while hitting .336 in 139 plate appearances. In dynasty leagues, Seise is a young prospect who has now flashed some power and speed potential. However, shoulder surgery could dent some of that upside going forward.--Ben Rolfe
