6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Wil Myers (oblique) and catcher Austin Hedges (elbow) are making progress on their road to health. Myers, out since April 29 with an oblique strain, took dry swings on Thursday. He was cleared for baseball activities on Tuesday and is likely a couple weeks away from returning. Hedges has been dealing with right elbow inflammation since May 1. His rehab assignment was cut short due to soreness last weekend, but he's on track to resume throwing imminently. He could return to the Padres soon if all goes well. While Hedges is not on the fantasy radar, Myers is an appealing buy-low target. He's dealt with various ailments all season and has only played in 10 games. If healthy, Myers could provide a power and speed threat for the Padres and patient fantasy owners.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
