6 years agoWith the 17th overall selection in the 2018 MLB Amateur draft, the Los Angeles Angels selected 18-year-old outfielder Jordyn Adams out of Green Hope High School as a senior. Standing at 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds, Adams looks to be one of the fastest prospects in the 2018 draft so far. He holds scouting grades of 50 hitting, 45 power, 75 running, 45 arm and 55 fielding and will commit to North Carolina University. The Angels rank 10th in MiLB's Position Player Farm System Rankings, and Adams will have to compete with top outfielders Jo Adell and Brandon Marsh in the system.--Caden Inaba
