6 years agoGary Woodland finally broke his streak of consecutive missed cuts on the PGA Tour after a very positive week at Muirfield. Woodland shot three rounds in the 60s on his way to a T23 finish. Woodland hadn’t gained any strokes approaching the green since February, but the American's iron game was excellent last week, where he gained an impressive five strokes on the field in this category. Not all parts of Woodland’s game were firing, however, as he finished second to last in the field of those who made the weekend in strokes gained around the green.--Gianni
