6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Brad Miller will sit against right-handed pitcher Max Scherzer. Surprisingly, the Rays will roll with right-handed hitter C.J. Cron at first base over the left-handed Miller. Over the course of his career, Miller has had more success against right-handed than left-handed pitchers. However, in 2018 he actually has a marginally better average when facing left-handed pitchers. Cron has actually had more success than Miller against right-handed pitchers, with eight home runs to Miller's four. However, any time a hitter matches up with Scherzer they make for a bad play in DFS. Cron is not a player we would be looking to use in any format on Tuesday.--Ben Rolfe
