6 years agoTexas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre will receive a day off Wednesday. This is all part of the Rangers plan to keep Beltre healthy throughout the season. Hopefully, the Rangers will take the bubble wrap off Beltre soon, meaning he will return to being close to an everyday player going forward. Ronald Guzman will get the start instead of Beltre on Wednesday. The left-handed hitter has six home runs and a .225 batting average in 152 plate appearances this season. Guzman has four of his six home runs against right-handed pitchers this season, meaning that despite hitting eighth, he is a possible play in DFS on Wednesday.--Ben Rolfe
