Miguel Cabrera Has Successful Surgery
6 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera (biceps) had successful surgery to repair a ruptured biceps tendon on Thursday. The recovery process is a lengthy one, with Cabrera unable to resume baseball activities for around six months. He's done for the season, but should be ready for 2019 spring training if all goes well. He finishes the 2018 campaign with a .299/.395/.843 line, with three homers and 22 RBI in just 38 games, the lowest total of his MLB career.
