6 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus (elbow) is expected to be activated from the disabled list Monday. Prior to be activated Andrus is being transferred to Triple-A for the weekend. Interestingly, this is the first time Andrus will play at Triple-A, having moved directly from Double-A to the majors in 2009. Andrus has been hitting .056 at Double-A but getting him back on game action is more important than the results. Once Andrus returns he should provide fantasy owners with the combination of power, speed and high average hitting. Andrus should be close to a top five shortstop rest of season.--Ben Rolfe
