6 years agoAfter struggling on the PGA Tour with five missed cuts in his last six events, Sergio Garcia has looked more like his old self since returning to Europe. First came a T12 finish at the BMW International Open two weeks ago. He followed that up with a T8 finish at the HNA Open de France on the back of a Saturday 64 this past weekend. Perhaps returning to Europe was just what the Spaniard needed, and he seems to be heating up just in time for the Open Championship at Carnoustie. While he may not be considered one of the favorites to become champion golfer of the year, he could make his presence felt at the year's third major.--cmangano
