6 years agoTexas Rangers utility infielder Jurickson Profar will receive a day off on Tuesday. His absence will allow first baseman Ronald Guzman to return to the lineup. Despite being a left-handed hitter Guzman has actually been better this season when facing left-handed pitchers. Guzman has not been terrible when facing right-handed pitchers, with a .167 ISO and a .313 wOBA. However, he has failed to hit consistently against them, having just a .238 batting average. The lack of consistency and hitting sixth means that Guzman is a hitter I would not look to start against Hector Velasquez on Tuesday.--Ben Rolfe
