BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 15% of leagues
ANALYSIS: San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Andrew Suarez has not allowed more than two runs in any of his last six trips to the hill and has surrendered just one in each of his last four. Some of those starts have been more tightrope-y than others due to shaky control (he walked four Cubs on Sunday), but he has still quickly become a fantasy asset.
On top of his run prevention, he calls pitcher-friendly AT&T Park his home and has Buster Posey for a batterymate, both things that make him a better fantasy pick. The Giants did the right thing in keeping both he and Dereck Rodriguez in the rotation over Chris Stratton and you should also find a spot on your depth chart for him.
Suarez is a good addition in deeper leagues, but if you are in a bind for a starter, there are worse options than Suarez in shallow leagues as well.
