6 years agoIt's hard to believe it's been four years since Rory McIlroy last won a major. After winning the Open Championship and PGA Championship to close out 2014, it seemed as if McIlroy would be winning one a year, if not more. Yet four years later and he's still stuck on four career majors. In the 13 majors since his last win he has finished top-10 in eight of them and top-five in four, but he has yet to get over the hump. Usually, as it was at this years Masters, his putting does him in. Tee to green McIlroy is one of the best in the world but will need to putt well all four days if he wants to add to his major total. McIlroy does have good history at Carnoustie, he finished T42 as an amateur back in 2007 after opening with a 68 that left him tied for third, but if he can't find the putting stroke it will be another missed opportunity for the talented Irishman.--cmangano
