6 years agoThe Mavericks and guard Yogi Ferrell have agreed to terms on a new $5.3 million contract that will keep him with the team for the next two seasons. Ferrell was relatively reliable for Dallas in 2018, appearing in 82 games and starting 21 of them. Averaging 10.2 points per contest to close out last season, he also shot an acceptable 37 percent from deep in addition to sporting a 103.8 defensive rating, the best of his career. Though he will see some minutes this upcoming season, they may take a slight dip with the addition of rookie guard Luka Doncic, but with guard Wesley Matthews rumored to be on the move, that could very well change.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
