6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Willie Calhoun is potentially being called up to the major leagues Friday. Calhoun posted a tweet which included an airplane emoji and a reference to Dallas, which he then deleted. However, the Rangers currently have an open roster spot and Calhoun has been having a solid season at Triple-A. Currently the young left-handed hitter has a .306 batting average with eight home runs and four stolen bases. Calhoun is likely to serve as part of the rotation in left field with Joey Gallo. The issue for Calhoun's fantasy owners will be playing time, but for those stashing him it will just be a relief to see him in the majors.--Ben Rolfe
