6 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor had another solid outing at home Tuesday. When Minor left the game after the fifth the Rangers led 4-2, and after they added another six run in the sixth it looked like he would take the win. However, a colossal meltdown by the bullpen cost Minor his seventh win of the season. Minor continues to defy the odds by pitching better in hitter friendly Arlington than away from it. In this outing he went five innings, surrendered two earned run, both on home runs, while striking out five. Minor is a pitcher I will never feel totally comfortable using, but in deeper leagues he is showing that there is no choice but to trust him when pitching at home.--Ben Rolfe
