6 years agoAtlanta Falcons defensive end Takkarist McKinley suffered just a bruise to his right arm during practice on Saturday. It looked like it might be something worse when he left the practice field with the trainers. Clearly Dan Quinn thought it was something more, as he spoke of his relief when he was told that it was just a bruise. McKinley figures to be a big part of the Falcons defense in 2018, be that as a starter or part of a rotation at defensive end. The young pass rusher will be looking to build upon his six sack performance in 2017.--Ben Rolfe
