6 years agoAtlanta Falcons defensive end Takkarist McKinley (shoulder) was back at practice Thursday. McKinley has missed practice for three straight days, after suffering a setback early in training camp. McKinley is expected to be a huge part of the Falcons defense this season. The young pass rusher had six sacks and 15 tackles last year, playing in a rotation role. The hope is that McKinley can see more reps this season, and eventually take over a starting role as the season progresses. If McKinley is at his best the Falcons defense could be a very strong unit in the upcoming season.--Ben Rolfe
