6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Delino DeShields (head) will travel with the team to New York this weekend. DeShields is eligible to come off the disabled list on Friday, and it looks highly possible that the Rangers plan to activate him as soon as he is available. DeShields will be looking to claim back his starting role, after losing it due to his poor hitting. So far this season, DeShields has just a .208 batting average. However, he does have 18 steals which has salvaged some of his value. Until DeShields returns to the Rangers lineup full time he has little fantasy value outside of AL-only formats.--Ben Rolfe
