6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Nomar Mazara could return to the lineup as early as next week. Mazara is headed out on a rehab assignment Thursday but is not expected to require long. While this is great news for Mazara owners, it likely means one of Willie Calhoun or Ronald Guzman is headed to the minor leagues. Given that Calhoun is the player that requires more regular time in the field, in order to improve, it is likely that he will be the one to be optioned. Either way neither Calhoun or Guzman are likely to have enough playing time to warrant being owned in anything but AL-only leagues.--Ben Rolfe
