7 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals placed infielder Yairo Munoz (wrist) on the 10-day disabled list on Saturday with a right wrist sprain and recalled infielder Patrick Wisdom from Triple-A Memphis in a corresponding move. Also, reliever Luke Gregerson (shoulder) was moved to the 60-day DL. Munoz had proved capable as a utility infielder and outfielder, with 59 hits in 208 at-bats (.284) and six homers, 31 RBI and five steals. Wisdom, mainly a third baseman, was hitting .289 with an impressive 14 long balls, 58 RBI and 11 stolen bases in 103 games for Memphis. He might not see enough playing time to become fantasy relevant, though.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
