6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Drew Robinson could be called back up to the major leagues if Delino DeShields is placed on the disabled list. Robinson was optioned to Triple-A when DeShields was activated last Sunday. However, if DeShields does require another trip to the disabled list with his finger injury then Robinson is in contention to replace him. Robinson's defensive utility would allow the Rangers to use him as a backup to Carlos Tocci, which may be preferable to having Joey Gallo as the backup. Robinson does not have much fantasy value even if he is called up, having hit .186 with one home run so far this season.--Ben Rolfe
