6 years agoCharl Schwartzel enters this week’s Northern Trust in a precarious position in the FedEx Cup standings. The South African is currently 96th in the FedEx Cup standings, and he will need a strong showing this week if he hopes to stay within the top-100 in the standings. Schwartzel has not finished in the top-30 of an event in his last six outings. The South African ranks 110th in this week’s field for ball striking over his previous 12 rounds, and he will need to improve dramatically on this should he wish to advance to the next stage of the FedEx Cup playoffs.--Gianni
