6 years agoAdrian Beltre will start his second game in two days as the Rangers designated hitter. Beltre is recovering from his third hamstring injury of the season. In an effort to avoid the disabled list, Beltre is now playing regularly as the designated hitter. Beltre's fantasy value has been all but eradicated this season, but only partly because of injury. However, Beltre is also not performing at the plate this season, with just seven home runs and a .275 batting average. At this point Beltre is not worth holding onto in anything outside of the deepest leagues.--Ben Rolfe
