6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo crushed yet another home run Wednesday. Gallo now has seven home runs in August, a month which has finally seen him get hot at the plate. Across the first four months of the season, Gallo had not hit above .216. Prior to Wednesday, he had a .318 batting average in August. This is the second consecutive year Gallo has got hot in August. In 2017, Gallo hit .246 with 11 home runs, a .402 on base percentage and a .522 ISO. Once again the Rangers will be hoping Gallo can take this late season hitting surge into next season. For fantasy owner Gallo remains a player who you should ride the streaks with. If Gallo is still unowned in your fantasy league then he should be added as soon as possible.--Ben Rolfe
