6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo is having a miserable start to September so far. After hitting .294 with eight home runs in August, Gallo is hitting just .182 in his 23 plate appearances so far. Of more concern to Gallo will be that he has only hit one home run so far this month. In 2018 Gallo has hit at least five home runs in every month of the season and he could get close to 40 home runs on the year if he manages to do that again in September. Unfortunately, 2018 has once again proved that Gallo's hit-or-miss nature looks unlikely to change. Right now he is impossible to start, but the potential he gets hot to end the season also makes him impossible to drop.--Ben Rolfe
