6 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman is expected to be "good to go" Sunday after leaving the season opener with a knee injury. The Falcons did promote Brian Hill from the practice squad to provide depth at the position. There has been no news on whether Freeman will be on a pitch count come Sunday. Unless we hear otherwise I expect the Falcons to be cautious with their star running back. With Tevin Coleman fully available and both Ito Smith and Hill available as backups the Falcons may choose to limit Freeman this week to preserve him for the rest of the season. The uncertainty is going to make it extremely hard to start Freeman this coming week, unless we hear assurances that he will be his normal self.--Ben Rolfe
