Ito Smith Finds The End Zone Sunday
6 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Ito Smith found the end zone for the first time in his career against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. In total, Smith rushed seven times for 35 yards and his touchdown, adding another 13 yards on three receptions. Short-term Smith is unlikely to be able to build on this as Devonta Freeman is set to return in Week 5. Smith will be relegated to the third running back role and his usage will be spotty at best. Long-term this is potentially the first step to Smith replacing Tevin Coleman as the Falcons backup running back. For dynasty purposes Smith remains a great stash, but for redraft leagues he remains someone who can only be owned in deeper leagues.
