6 years agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Austin Hooper had a disappointing outing on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Hooper caught just one of his two targets for 19 yards. The reception was very impressive as Hooper fought for an unlikely first-down. However, the fact he only saw two targets and neither were in the red zone is extremely concerning. His fantasy value was already extremely touchdown dependent and it has now been two weeks since he had a target down near the goal line. His fellow tight end Logan Paulsen did see a target in the end zone, which he caught for a touchdown, and that could very easily have been a target for Hooper in different circumstances. It is not time to completely give up on Hooper, but another bad outing may make him someone you should look to cut in order to make room for a hot-hand at the tight end position.--Ben Rolfe
