6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis led the team in scoring on Monday against the Hawks, as he recorded 16 points in 17 minutes on 5-for-12 shooting, sinking six of eight from the charity stripe. He also had seven rebounds, one steal, and one block. AD's lackluster shooting can be explained by the fact that the Pellies also played on Sunday, making fatigue a factor. The Pelicans would actually be smart to keep Davis' minutes limited throughout the whole preseason, as he regularly tends to break down when things really matter.
