6 years agoMiami Heat forward/center Bam Adebayo will be seriously pushing Hassan Whiteside and others for minutes in 2018-19, and he showed great promise against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday, posting a big 26-point, 12-rebound double-double with five steals and three blocks. He shot 11-17 from the field and 4-for-6 from the line, playing 27 minutes as a starter. Whiteside (rest) missed the game and there were other absentees as well, so don't expect Adebayo to start repeating such performances night in, night out. However, he does have some great upside and is expected to play a much bigger role this season after averaging 19.8 minutes in his rookie year.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
