6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic did some work in the middle in his 20 minutes of action as his team blew away the Phoenix Suns. Nurkic scored five points along with eight rebounds while adding a steal and a block in his limited minutes. Nurkic attempted three more shots from downtown and has connected on a respectable 3-for-8 in the preseason. If he can maintain this come the regular season, we may see a leap in Nurkic's output making him an intriguing mid-to-late round selection in drafts.--Gianni Costantiello
