6 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Ito Smith will serve as the Falcons primary backup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday. In the three games that Smith was backup for Tevin Coleman he saw an average of 8.7 rushes or targets per game. Smith has also scored touchdowns in the last two games, receiving goal line carries in both games. Smith appears to have a role near the goal line and it will be interesting to see if that continues this week. The unknown of Smith's exact role makes him a tough back to start outside of the deepest of fantasy leagues heading into Week 6.--Ben Rolfe
