6 years agoBoston Celtics forward/center Al Horford was impressive during the season opener against the Sixers on Tuesday. The 32-year-old veteran looked good in this one, finishing the night with only nine points but made up for it defensively by recording five blocks over 30 minutes. He will have his occasional duds and nagging ailments moving forward; however, he should continue to get his minutes and remain an efficient source of rebounds at the very least. He can fill up the stat sheet, but don't expect consistent offensive showings throughout the season, especially with the team loaded with so many weapons on the offensive end.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
