6 years agoPhoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton played through his minor ankle injury but got dominated in this one by Nikola Jokic as his club lost to the Denver Nuggets. Ayton shot just 2-for-7 from the floor for five points and was able to add eight rebounds to his line with five fouls. With all the hype around the rookie, we need to remember that he is a rookie and that there will be bumps in the road along the way and tonight was big bump. Things will not be getting any easier for the young Suns as they matchup against the Golden State Warriors Monday.--Gianni Costantiello
