DeMar DeRozan Scores 28 Points For Second Consecutive Game
6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs shooting guard DeMar DeRozan tallied 28 points against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night, which matched his point total from his debut. DeRozan, acquired by the Spurs in the trade for Kawhi Leonard, connected on 11 of 22 shots from the field and made all six of his free throws versus the Blazers. He also contributed nine assists, three rebounds along with two steals on the night. The 29-year-old poured in 28 points in his first ever game with the Spurs on Wednesday night, as he made 10 of 21 shots from the field. DeRozan is one of the most reliable guards in fantasy basketball today, as he can score in a variety of ways while having the ability to contribute in several other categories. It appears that the 10th-year veteran will have free reign going forward this year, as the Spurs don't have many other options.
