6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook returned to action and flirted with a triple-double as he played 35 minutes in his club's loss. Westbrook scored 32 points while grabbing 12 rebounds and dished out eight assists without having any minute restrictions which is an excellent sign. Westbrook did commit five turnovers while knocking down just 5-for-11 from the line and did not have any defensive stats. Overall, it was excellent for owners to have the superstar back and he will have some time to rest as his club does not hit the court again until Thursday when they take on the Boston Celtics.--Gianni Costantiello
