6 years agoBoston Celtics small forward Gordon Hayward (rest) returned to action Monday against the Orlando Magic, finishing with 11 points on 4-for-8 shooting from the field, including a season-high 3-for-5 from behind the three-point line. He was given the night off in New York in the second end of a back-to-back, as the team takes it slowly with Hayward. He is still just a year removed from a devastating leg injury in last season's regular-season opener. The good news for fantasy owners is that the C's do not have another back-to-back situation until Nov. 8-9, so it might be clear sailing for a while as Hayward gets his sea legs.--Daniel Dobish
