6 years agoDallas Mavericks forward Luka Doncic managed to score 22 points, but it was not enough as his club lost to the Toronto Raptors 116-107 on Friday. Doncic’s excellent performance included five rebounds while dishing out four assists while connecting on four makes from three, but he committed three turnovers in the process in 35 minutes. The Mavs made a hard push in the third quarter as they went on a 20-6 run that was led by the Slovenian and he held his own in the duel with Kawhi Leonard. We would have to say so far that Doncic has been better-than-expected and his value looks to only be going up from here. He should continue to roll on Sunday when his Mavs take on the Utah Jazz.--Gianni Costantiello
