6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum scored 19 points on 7-for-13 shooting in Tuesday's win over the Houston Rockets. He was 3-for-6 from downtown and added in four rebounds and two assists. McCollum's scoring numbers are down this year, mainly thanks to a drop in shot attempts and in field goal percentage on two-point attempts. But McCollum continues to shoot well from outside, connecting on 39.5 percent of those attempts so far. He's got a decent matchup on Thursday against a Pelicans team that ranks in the bottom half of the NBA in defending against threes.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
